Android Lollipop features are not owned iOS 8

Android and iOS are the two rulers of today's mobile operating system. Google and Apple also recently released the latest version of the mobile OS, Android 5.0 Lollipop and iOS 8.

1. Guest Mode

With this feature, Google makes an Android device can be used by many people, for example by the family. By Guest Mode, the user can lock certain features that are not used by irresponsible parties.

While Apple seems to still think that the mobile device is a personal device, not to be used in a gang.

2. Battery Saving

In Android 5.0, Google for the first time introduce pengirit feature batteries that could add about 90 minutes of the life of the device.

Features formerly known as Project Volta works by disabling connectivity, reduce performance, and more. Unfortunately, Apple has not given the similar feature in iOS 8.

3. Smart Lock

Currently Android is the only OS that allows users to unlock the device with the backing of his pairing with devices such as smartwatch, or mobile phones and other tablets.

While unlock for iOS devices is currently only able to use swipe, four-digit pin, or use a fingerprint sensor.

4. USB Mass Storage

It's been seven years since the first iPhone was launched, and the phone was still detected as a digital camera when connected to a Windows PC. Meanwhile, if the Android device is connected, will be detected like portable storage such as flash and the like.

Android OS also supports storage expansion using microSD card, a feature that until now could not be found on iOS.

5. Application Management

Regarding additional applications, the current iOS device users currently only able to install, open, or delete. While in Android, users can freely tinkering with various aspects of the application on the device.

One more, Android users can set the default application as he wishes, as free to choose the default browser, email client, or photo editor. While in iOS, users can not do that kind of thing. For example, browsers, by default are locked in the Safari app.

Actually, not just Android, Windows Phone and even BlackBerry also supports full use of Near Field Communication (NFC) for a long time.

While the new Apple allow the use of NFC in iOS 8.1, it was not all features unlocked by Apple. NFC in iOS 8.1 can only be used as a supporting feature Apple Pay.

7. Applications

Android users can install apps from anywhere, not fixated on Play Store. Provided that users are aware that the application is installed apart from the Play Store could harm the device.
In iOS, users can only install apps from Apple's App Store, unless they jailbreak their device - which would scorch the warranty.

8. Photography

No doubt, the quality of the image produced by the camera in the iPhone is almost always outperform a picture taken with an Android phone in general.

But if talking feature, Google made OS provides many advanced features that do not exist in iOS. For example, 4K video recording, manual setting when shooting range, also shoot in RAW format.
