Lenovo officially acquire mobile phone vendor Motorola bought from Google. Arrival Motorola makes Lenovo's ambition to master the smartphone market currently dominated by Samsung and Apple.
According to IDC, Lenovo's smartphone market share was 5.2%, below the Xiaomi rate of 5.3%. But after acquiring Motorola and the combined market share, overtaking Xiaomi Lenovo with 8.7% market share, second only to Samsung and Apple.
Lenovo has promised not to remove the Motorola brand and instead make them as one of its strengths. Brand Motorola plotted into Lenovo flag in developed markets.
