Nintendo Makes Sleep Monitor

 
Not just playing in the game industry, Nintendo is also reportedly studied medical devices business. Recently, Nintendo reveals the details of his first medical device named QOL platform.

QOL is an abbreviation of 'Quaity of Life' is a sensor device that can monitor and analyze your when sleeping.

Nintendo describes QOL has five feature 'non-sensing' and do not need to be worn on the body, without manually operated, without waiting, and without installation. The point is, this device is designed to work at will, without needing a lot of settings.

The device is designed to monitor user QOL during sleep. By using radio waves, the device will read the user's movement, heart rate, breathing and fatigue level, proficiency level and send data to the server for analysis.

QOL system also connects to smart devices and game consoles Nintendo Wii U and sort the 3DS via the cloud. A variety of services designed to improve the health and quality of life, through diet and exercise, for example, will become part of the system QOL.

In the making, Nintendo collaborated with ResMed, an American company engaged in the production of medical equipment.
